Graduate Program Biochemistry & Structural Biology
The Graduate Program Biochemistry & Structural Biology federates and coordinates the Master's degrees, doctoral schools and research teams at the University of Paris-Saclay in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics for the exploration of biological macromolecules, from the molecular and multi-molecular scales to their functions and interactions, as well as their integration into the cellular environment.
Keywords (alphabetical order): Advanced Spectroscopy; Architecture; Bioactive compounds; Biochemistry; Biophysics; Biochemistry; Chemistry and Physics for Life Sciences; Cell Environment; Complexes; Crystallography ; Directed Evolution; DNA; Enzymes; Imaging; Interactomes; Macromolecular assemblies; Modeling; Molecular Interactions; Optics; Proteomics; Probes; Structural biology; RNA; Viruses.
The Engineering and Chemistry of Biomolecules course offers high-level training, centred on the study of living organisms at the molecular level, for students who have validated a bachelor's degree at the Chemistry-Biology interface. This course includes in-depth teaching, updated according to scientific advances in these two fields, in the following disciplines: biochemistry of macromolecules, structural biology, proteomics, biotechnology, structural bioinformatics, bio-organic chemistry, structural and separative analysis techniques, strategies and tools for organic and organometallic synthesis, organic functionalisations, synthesis of organic molecules from living organisms, biophysics of radiation-macromolecule interactions.
All doctoral schools in the Graduate School Life Sciences & Health are attached to the Graduate Program Biochemistry & Structural Biology.
