Nearly 350 people gathered on Monday July 8 to celebrate the Graduation Ceremony of the Graduate School of Physics

Celebrate the success of our graduates

Wide smiles, beautiful moments of emotion and a magnificent toque's throw were on the program during the Physics Mention Diploma Ceremony.

After the speeches of Odile Stephen, Director of the Graduate School of Physics, Anne L'Huillier and Pierre Agostini, both Nobel Prize winners in Physics and godmother and godfather of the Ceremony, 4 students took the floor to share their personal experience of their years at the Univeristy.

Following one another on stage in a festive and happy atmosphere, the students of the 15 Masters of Physics were symbolically presented with a bag of Paris-Saclay's goodies from their teachers, under the gaze of a joyful assembly made up of their loved-ones, teachers and staff of the University. The entiere ceremony was accompanied by the Roland Trio who welcomed the professors to the tune of the Pink Panther and the Nobel Prize winers to the tune of Lully's Marche de la Cérémonie des Turcs.

Partying, sharing, conviviality

After this moving moment, the afternoon continued around a cocktail punctuated by the intervention of the magician Victor Zatko and the Afreubo Fanfare composed of 30 musicians from the University, as well as the provision of a photo studio by the photographer Christophe Peus.

"Grab opportunities, be persistent, take care of people, and aim for a balanced life. Let me congratulate you once again and wish you all the best for your future."

We thank everyone who contributed to the smooth running of the Ceremony.
