Cosmetic 360
Located in the "research" zone, bringing together academic players serving the fragrance and cosmetics industry, Université Paris-Saclay will be presenting its cutting-edge research and expertise in this field on its stand DB18 at the international innovation trade show for the fragrance and cosmetics industry, on 16 and 17 October in Paris. The university's participation in these two events testifies to its strong integration in today's socio-economic fabric and the international impact of its research and innovation in a wide range of sectors., on 16 and 17 October at the Carrousel du Louvre, Paris.
With 220 laboratories, including 60 linked to the fragrance and cosmetics industry, and over 500 experimental platforms, including 20 linked to the fragrance and cosmetics industry in six areas (cosmetics, pharmaceutical research, chemical industry, packaging, product management, dermatology), Université Paris-Saclay is helping to strengthen this sector.
This international trade show, specialising in cosmetics and fragrances and launched in 2015 by the COSMETIC VALLEY competitiveness cluster, aims to bring together decision-makers around the latest technological advances, emerging trends and innovations across the entire industry.
Each year, a particular theme is chosen as the common thread for the conferences, the animation zones, the competition and a specific approach. This year, the focus is on longevity and durability. The notion of longevity-durability in cosmetics refers to all innovations that contribute to slowing down or “reversing” the effects of ageing on our skin, to extending the lifespan of products, equipment, packaging… to reduce the impact of our industry on humans and the environment.
