Franck Delmotte and Delphine Marris-Morini among the 2025 class of Optica Fellows
On 31 January 2025, the Society Optica, the leading organisation in the field of global optics and photonics, announced the new members to join the Society’s 2025 Fellow Class, who included Franck Delmotte and Delphine Marris-Morini.
Franck Delmotte is a professor at the Institut d’optique Graduate School – Université Paris-Saclay, a researcher at the Charles Fabry Laboratory (LCF – Univ. Paris-Saclay/IOGS/CNRS) and head of the Optique XUV group and the CEMOX platform of the LUMAT federation. He has been recognised for his pioneering and sustained contributions in the field of extreme ultraviolet and X-ray optics.
Delphine Marris-Morini is a professor at Université Paris-Saclay and a researcher at the Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (C2N – Univ. Paris-Saclay/CNRS/Univ. Paris Cité). She has been recognised for her significant contributions in silicon photonics from near-infrared to mid-infrared.
They have both been made fellow of the Optica Society, alongside 119 other leading figures from 27 different countries.
Fellows are Optica members who have served with distinction in the advancement of optics and photonics and are selected based on several factors, including outstanding contributions to research, business, education, engineering, and service to Optica.
