Comète Film Festival: vote for your favourite short film

Do you dream of attending the Cannes Film Festival? At the Université Paris-Saclay, with the Internationalisation at Home unit, you have a chance to attend the « Comète Film Festival » on line and vote for the « Best Foreign Language Film » . You have till the 6th June (midnight) to vote for the movie of your choice from the five that have been pre-selected by the Université Paris-Saclay Jury for projection.

What exactly is the « Comète Film Festival » ?

Comète, a Telecom ParisTech student association for audio-visual arts, has created a brand new Parisian festival, The Comète Film Festival, to  reward the best short films made by international youth. The festival aims to provide a platform for talented international youth to showcase their work while allowing the public at large to have access to high quality creations. All the films selected for projection have been made by teams under 30 years of age.

Vote in the « Best Foreign Language Film » category!

The Université Paris Saclay, through its LINkS unit (Foreign language and intercultural skills unit), is committed to supporting student cultural activities. The University is again the official partner of the Comète Film Festival for the « Best Foreign Language Film » category. A Jury made up of 5 higher education institutions from the cluster of Universities and Graduate Engineering schools that form the Université Paris-Saclay today, as well as an independent collaborator from the world of film has selected 5 out of 21 films for the public vote.

 

Vote for your favourite movie !

Vote on line for the movie you consider to be the « Best Foreign Language Film ». A second vote will take place during the projections. Entry is free on registration.

Attend the screenings

The Comète Film Festival will take place at the Club de l'Étoile in front of a jury of professionals, on June 7th, 8th and 9th, 2019, during which it will be possible to attend the screenings of the selected short films, but also to conferences and master classes.
