Laboratoire Charles Fabry (LCF)

Présentation du laboratoire

Le Laboratoire Charles Fabry (LCF) mène des activités de recherches de haut niveau dans de nombreux secteurs de l'optique allant des thématiques fondamentales comme l'optique atomique, l'optique quantique, la nanophotonique, l'interaction lumière-matière et l'optique non linéaire aux thématiques plus appliquées comme les sources lasers, l'optique XUV, la biophotonique et les systèmes d'imagerie. L' excellence de la recherche menée au LCF se traduit par un nombre élevé de contrats de recherche au niveau international (ERC, FP7, H2020), national (ANR) et local (Labex PALM et NanoSaclay). Le LCF a développé un partenariat avec Safran dans le cadre de la chaire de Photonique Ultime. Le LCF participe aux Equipex Cilex-Apollon (Laser 10 PW), Attolab (sources attoseconde) et Morphoscope (imagerie in-vivo multi-échelle) et coordonne la centrale d'élaboration des couches minces XUV (Cemox). Le LCF est fortement impliqué dans la recherche partenariale avec le tissu économique et industriel (contrats de collaboration, doctorants CIFRE, laboratoires communs, création de start-up).
