Third day of the astrophysics axis
The third day of the Astrophysics axis took place on Thursday October 19, 2023 at the Pascal Institute.
This day, which welcomed nearly 60 participants, alternated between oral scientific presentations and poster sessions, finally ending with an interdisciplinary workshop on the problem of visualizing complex data in astrophysics. A majority of the participants were doctoral students from the Paris-Saclay laboratories (DAp, IAS, LATMOS, LPP), and the rest of the audience was made up of post-doctoral students, current researchers, engineers and even foreign visitors. .
This meeting was a unique opportunity to provide an overview of astrophysics research at Paris-Saclay. Doctoral students were at the center of this event: most of the presentations and posters were made by doctoral students, and the daytime workshop was the initiative of a doctoral student. This event also provided an opportunity to review current astrophysics projects, funded by LabEx P2IO.
