The Minister of Communications and Information Technology in Egypt welcomed at Université Paris-Saclay to explore opportunities of cooperation in the areas of ICTs and AI

On November 12, the President of Université Paris-Saclay, Prof. Sylvie Retailleau, welcomed H.E. Dr. Amr Talaat, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology in Egypt.

Accompanied by H. E. Ambassador Ehab Badawi, the Minister was welcomed at Université Paris-Saclay to discuss opportunities for cooperation in ICTs and AI between Université Paris-Saclay and Egyptian universities in the context of numerous reforms in higher education in the country in these fields. The Minister met with the Director of International Relations at UPSaclay, Mr. Guillaume Garreta, the Vice-President for International Affairs at UPSud, Prof. Sandrine Lacombe, as well as the Director of the DATAIA Institute, Prof. Bertrand Thirion.
