On 17 February 2025, the European Innovation Council (EIC) announced the 71 cutting-edge companies from 16 countries it has selected for funding, combining grants and equity, following the last 2024 EIC Accelerator cut-off in October. Of the five winning French companies, three are linked to the Université Paris-Saclay community.

  • Cofounded by François Perruchot, who has a PhD from Université Paris-Saclay, Maud Vinet and Tristan Meunier, the company Quobly will receive blended funding for the MCQube project: Breaking barriers in scalable quantum computing.

The winning companies were selected from 1,211 submitted proposals, of which 431 were invited to the jury interviews. Selected companies will collectively receive up to €161 million in grants and approximately €226 million in equity.
