Since 2014, Clarivate Analytics, which manages the Web of Science, a reference database of scientific publications, presents a list of scientists selected for the regularity of their research publications, as evidenced by their production of several articles among the 1% most cited in their discipline in Web of Science.

This list is one of the criteria underlying Shanghai's ranking and it is notably thanks to the scientific production of these experts and their teams that Paris-Saclay University has been ranked 14th in the world.
