Professional equality

According to the definition given by the Council of Europe, professional equality refers to "the equal visibility, autonomy, responsability and participation of both sexes in all spheres of public and private life". In the workplace, this means equal treatment for women and men in terms of access to employment, education, mobility, promotion, and equal pay.

Université Paris-Saclay is committed to the fight for professional gender equality and organises awareness-raising campaigns (notably during Gender Equality Week in March) to promote women's carreers and to actively support the professional integration of young female graduates. These actions are aimed at students and staff alike.
