The Soil We Live On – Sustainable Use Of Arable Land
The global population is increasing and with it our need for both infrastructure and food. Ensuring that there is sufficient arable land for future food and biomass production is a challenge more relevant than ever. But how much land is really needed to secure the future food production? And how can we ensure that the land is sufficient for all our needs, even for future generations?
During the Sustainability Week in Lund 2021, The purpose is to highlight the challenges and conflicts that arise related to the sustainable use of arable land, and to discuss possible solution paths with the participants.
