Skills

The program provides students with a cross-disciplinary perspective and a solid scientific foundation in control of embedded systems, enabling them to design, test, implement, and validate advanced control methods. Graduates will be able to:

  • Master the entire functional chain linking sensors, actuators, and effectors, as well as the hardware and software architectures for interfacing the different elements of an intelligent system.
  • Apply a system-level approach to address concrete engineering problems, directly connected to innovation-driven industries.
  • Model and optimize complex systems, relying on simulation tools and rapid hardware-software prototyping.
  • Master embedded architectures and interface methodologies, particularly for vehicles and automated systems.
  • Design intelligent systems using “off-the-shelf” components, promoting code reuse, compliance with standards, consideration of certification requirements, and eco-responsible design practices.
  • Develop strong analytical skills, with the ability to bridge theory and practice.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal competencies such as active listening, teamwork, project management, communication, and knowledge transfer.
  • Achieve proficiency in English, with a particular focus on scientific and technical English.

Objectives

The objective of the Intelligent Automotive and Aeronautical Systems (SIAA) program, offered at the Évry site, is to equip students with the skills required for the design and development of intelligent mobile systems, with a focus on ground vehicles, aerial systems, and aerospace robotics. The curriculum covers the entire perception – decision – action chain, while also addressing communication, interfacing, and integration challenges.

The courses are structured around a fundamental core, a theoretical foundation, and a specialization track. They also include an introduction to business and industry knowledge, in order to prepare students for innovation and industrial integration.
