Modélisation Systémique Appliquée aux Ruminants (MoSAR)

Présentation du laboratoire

Le MoSAR est une unité de recherche mixte (UMR) entre l'INRA et AgroParisTech, physiquement située au sein d'AgroParisTech, Paris, avec une installation expérimentale à Grignon (78850). Il est rattaché au centre INRA de Jouy-en-Josas. Le MoSAR a vu le jour le 1er janvier 2010, avant quoi l'unité s'appelait "Physiologie de la Nutrition et Alimentation". L'unité possède une expertise de longue date en physiologie nutritionnelle et en évaluation des aliments pour ruminants, appliquée aux chèvres laitières, ainsi qu'en modélisation systémique de la physiologie et de la biologie animales. Depuis qu'il est devenu MoSAR, les objectifs scientifiques de l'unité de recherche ont évolué pour donner à la modélisation systémique un rôle plus central, ainsi qu'un accent plus clair sur la caractérisation des variations phénotypiques dans l'acquisition, la transformation et la répartition des nutriments aux différentes fonctions vitales.
