Présentation du laboratoire

Le laboratoire Ecologie, Systématique et Evolution conduit des recherches en écologie et évolution afin d'étudier la dynamique de la biodiversité ainsi que l'évolution et le fonctionnement des écosystèmes. Pour cela la modélisation mathématique est utilisée en outil de compréhension en complément des expérimentations et des observations in situ. L'étude des conséquences des changements globaux notamment climatique sur les populations et les écosystèmes est investiguée d'un point de vue génétique et phénotypique afin d'adapter les politiques publiques. L'objectif est de contribuer à fournir des outils d'aide de décisions aux gestionnaires de la biodiversité et des socio-agro-éco-écosystèmes. Pour mener à bien ces études le laboratoire dispose notamment de plateformes instrumentées en forêt (Très grande infrastructure de recherche). Le laboratoire est en partenariat avec la chaire Vinci sur l'étude des toits végétalisés.
