[Thematic School] International Paris-Saclay Plasmonics School 2025
The Institute for the Sciences of Light (ISL) is organizing the 3rd edition of the International Paris-Saclay Plasmonics School ((PS)² 2025), which will take place July 7–11, 2025, at the Université Paris-Saclay campus.
What to Expect at (PS)² 2025 ?
The Paris-Saclay Plasmonics School ((PS)²) is a biennial, specialized short training programme organized by the ISL. Tailored for those new to the field of plasmonics, this training opportunity brings together 50-60 early-career researchers, including master's students, doctoral candidates, postdoctoral fellows, as well as engineers and junior researchers, from laboratories across Europe and beyond.
Building on the success of its first two editions, (PS)² 2025 will provide partciapants with an immersive experience, combining in-depth lectures, interactive sessions, and hands-on learning:
- Expert Lectures: Renowned researchers will give two-hour tutorials covering key concepts.
- Research Seminars: Short talks will highlight the latest breakthroughs.
- Practical Video Sessions: A new feature, offering a hands-on introduction to experimental techniques.
- Poster Sessions & Networking: Engage with peers and invited speakers in an interactive setting.
- Lab Visits: Exclusive access to cutting-edge research facilities.
- Social & Cultural Activities: Shared meals, informal gatherings, and an afternoon exploring Paris.
