A course by Jaqueline Mesquita
Title: An introduction to the theory of time scales
Abstract: In this short course, we will present the basic concepts and results of the theory of time scales, a theory that unifies difference and differential equations and offers a formalism for studying hybrid systems. In the first part, we will investigate the operators, the delta derivatives and delta integrals. In the second part, we will investigate the exponential function on time scale and applications. In the third part, we will investigate the periodicity of time scales. Finally, we will present some applications.
