Objectives
Master’s Degree (M2) in Public Litigation Law (Taught in French)
Established in 2002, the Master 2 in Public Litigation Law offers advanced professional training in French for students specializing in public law. It provides in-depth expertise in domestic, European, and international public litigation, preparing graduates for careers as administrative judges, lawyers, or public law jurists.
A Practice-Oriented Program
Taught by experienced academics and practitioners, the program focuses on:
- Analyzing and synthesizing complex and evolving legal data.
- Building rational, critical, and persuasive arguments.
- Clear, effective, and responsive oral and written communication.
- Bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application.
- Mastering a broad range of public litigation fields in French, European, and international law.
Four Key Skill Areas
- General Public Litigation: advanced administrative litigation, constitutional review (QPC).
- Ethics and Legislative Drafting.
- Specialized Litigation: immigration, tax, and local government disputes.
- Pre-Professional Training: litigation strategies, simulated administrative court sessions, and a professional internship.
Hands-On Learning Throughout the Year
- Written and oral exercises, case studies, and practical workshops.
- A simulated administrative court project spanning several weeks.
- A mandatory internship of at least three months in the litigation field (3 days/week from January, full-time from May).
- A research thesis, potentially linked to the internship.
- A defense of both the thesis and the internship report before a jury.

Target Audience and Entry Requirements
Students are expected to have an excellent command of the French language and to be familiar with French public law. This program requires a solid knowledge of the French legal system. A Master 1 degree in Public Law is an essential prerequisite.
